What Is the BBB Torch Award for Ethics?

The BBB Torch Award for Ethics is the highest recognition the Better Business Bureau gives to a company. Each year, the BBB Serving the Pacific Southwest selects a small group of businesses that go above and beyond to show outstanding ethics, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the communities they serve.

Finalists are chosen by an independent panel of volunteer community leaders. They are reviewed on four key pillars: Character, Culture, Customers, and Community. Businesses must submit a detailed written application. They then meet with the judging panel in person to share their story. Being named a finalist reflects a company's commitment to ethical practices every single day, not just a one-time effort.
